The Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) attended the International Halal Summit on November 23-25, 2017 in Turkey.
Rhadzni Taalim, head of BDA Program Operations Division and Luqman Tandalong, regional manager of BDA Davao Region represented the agency in that global event.
Taalim shared that the Summit was very relevant exposure for BDA since the latter is planning to develop Islamic microfinance, one of the topics discussed during the said activity.
“Micro-financing is one of the projects that the BDA is looking into in the near future as we intend to provide support to those small-scale enterprise groups, people’s organizations that were organized by the agency through various programs implemented for the past years. That plan will be help in our aim for the sustainability of those organizations”, Taalim stated.
The event, which was joined by international organizations and local businesspersons in Turkey, also highlighted display Halal products.
