After his retirement as a public servant under the Office of Muslim Affairs (OMA), now National Commission of Muslim Filipino (NCMF), he devoted his time and energy to the Bangsamoro through the BDA.
He was one of themembers of the Technical Working Group of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) Peace Negotiating Panel.
Message of sympathies and condolences from colleagues at BDA flooded the social media where both pioneering and present staff of the agency shared stories of memories with late Jacinto.
In his facebook post, BDA Board of Directors Chairman Dr. Saffrullah Dipatuan commended the achievement of Hadji Hashim and said “I give him the distinction of being the repository of professional knowledge and wisdom. No BOD meetings passed without learning from him. He is astute, daring, sharp, candid and uncompromising.
“He will be surely missed in our future BOD meetings”, Dipatuan ended.
