BDA thanks Hiroshima Univ. for capacitating B’Moro youth for Bangsamoro vision

In his welcome message during the Final Presentation of Policy Proposals of the 6th Batch of the 2nd Phase of the Hiroshima Peace Building Program for the Bangsamoro, Mohammad S. Yacob, executive director of the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA), thanked Hiroshima University for the capacity building support to Bangsamoro youth.

“I express my heartfelt gratitude to Hiroshima University, to Prof. Yushida, from Phase I t o Phase II of this program which has been our dream and vision”, Dir. Yacob stated.

He added that the knowledge and skills acquired by these youth scholars from the program are priceless.

Dir. Yacob congratulated the scholars for their accomplishments and by being able to carry out their visions through the policy proposals they have developed which according to the official is part of the Bangsamoro people visions.

BDA is among the panelists and critiques invited to give inputs to the proposed papers of the Bangsamoro youth which objectives are in line with the relevant social issues in the Bangsamoro.

To note, BDA has signed partnership with the Hiroshima University for this program on human resource development in the Bangsamoro in 2015 and has been hosting some of its activities like orientation and field exposures to selected communities for the scholars.
