B’moro civic leaders undergo experience-sharing program in Turkey, meet Pres. Erdoğan

Six Bangsamoro civic leaders just have one of their life’s greatest achievements by meeting one of the most notable world’s strongest leaders of the present time, the President of the Republic of Turkey Tayyip Erdoğan.

Tony Sakalahul (Isabela City), Ruby Andong (Cotabato City), Datu Amilbahar Sangkula Tawi-Tawi), Abdulrahaman Mamaingco (Lanao province), Abdel Aziz Halun (Sulu province) and Jenaida L. Abas (North Cotabato  province) met and greeted H.E. Erdoğan during the experience-sharing program between Turkey and the Bangsamoro on October 14-21, 2018 in the cities of Ankara and Istanbul of Turkey.

Said B’Moro leaders have also met other key officials of the Turkey Republic and learned from them relevant information and strategies on advocacy and plebiscite which will be useful in the Bangsamoro.

Part also of their trip was visit to some government offices, landmarks, city tours and the privilege to witness and observe parliamentary proceedings in Turkey.

This program was intended to exchange and share experiences on governance, stories and histories, and possible support, collaboration and partnership in the near future.
