Conflict Resolution Skills Training for elder leaders and religious groups

Conflict can happen anytime and anywhere. On dealing with it, various factors has to be considered for instance, the multi- sectors who are may be involved in a conflict.

This has become one of the basis or purposes of the Conflict Resolution Skills Training organized by the International Children’s Action Network (ICAN) with the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) as local partner on November 7-10, 2017 at Cotabato City.

Participants to the activity were elder leaders and religious groups from Pikit North Cotabato.

Sessions included discussions and lectures on non-violent communication, mediation, negotiation, and dialogue.

Sharing of ideas in the Islamic perspective of peace and conflict resolution as foundational resources for peace was likewise part of the training.

This activity was in line with the previous training on July 2017 in Cotabato City, by the ICAN and BDA.
