Development projects in Central Mindanao

Road Rehabilitation Project 

Ahmad Tacuken, 52, president of Mujatamaah farmers for Sustainable Peace and Development of Brgy. Nasapian, Carmen, North Cotabato expressed deep gratitude to the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA).

“It’s a kind of help that upgrade not only our road but also our way of living”, Tacuken said.

“Before, we pay 80 pesos per sack for the transportation of our products from farm to market, but now, we only pay 45 pesos”, he said.

Tacuken further stated that the road is also a help for the children in going to school.

“We observed that before, children are less motivated going to school because of the muddy road. But after the rehabilitation, everybody was excited going to school every day”, he added.

The 680 meters road  rehabilitation project was formally turned over to the community o Nasapian, Carmen, North Cotabato on March 30, 2017.

  • 1 unit in Brgy. Kakal, Ampatuan, Maguindanao turned over on March 29, 2017
  • 1 unit each for the barangays of Puya in Datu Paglas and in Panosolen, General Salipada K. Pendatun (GSKP) all in the province of Maguindanao and in Central Malamute, Matalam, North Cotabato simulaneously conducted on March 31,2017

Various stakeholders witnessed the turn-over ceremony for each site. They were representatives from Local Government Unit (LGU) both in barangay and municipal level, Political Committee, Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF), People’s Organization (PO) officers and members, staff from the Bangsamoro Development Agency.
