FOR THE YOUTH: BDA welcomes youth group for educational visit

Over forty youth from the Coalition of Moro Youth Movement (CMYM) visited the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) as part of their Moro Youth Peace Camp on December 19, 2017.

The visit was in line with the objective of the program to give the youth social exposure in order for them to be educated about the gains of the peace process.

In an official letter sent to BDA, Atty. Shidik Abantas told the agency that the CMYM wishes to know how BDA as development arm of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) operates under the larger context of the Philippines.

“We also would like to be briefed on the current and previous activities, programs and projects of the BDA in order to highlight some of the significant gains of the peace process”, Atty. Abantas added.

Rhadzni Taalim, head of BDA program operations division presented to the youth visitors about the BDA.

Other BDA key officials were also present in welcoming the guests. They were Hashim Manticayan, head for human resource development, Abdulmaguid Salidatan, for administrative div., and Julhaina Cadon, finance div. chief.

BDA team also distributed some copies of brochures containing information about the agency.
