Inspired by the current momentum in the peace process, and joining the rest of the Bangsamoro in the call for the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL), hundreds of volunteers of the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) Regional Management Office Central Mindanao gathered on January 10, 2019 at Camp Darapanan Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao for the 2nd General Assembly.

The event was intended to promote strong camaraderie and to show support to the Bangsamoro aspiration.

Development catalysts who attended the said activity were coming from eight provinces of Central Mindanao namely Bandar, Damakling, Iranun, Kutawato, Bukidnon

Each of the chairman of the eight provinces spoke during the gathering expressing commitment and support to serve the Bangsamoro.

These volunteers are development catalysts of BDA Central Mindanao who are organized at the community level as local counterpart and coordinating body during field works.

They are volunteers who are mobilized to co-facilitate community-based activities and trainings and in coordinating with local partners and stakeholders to ensure proper completion of any project or program.

Volunteerism has been the primary capital of the BDA in managing and enriching its human resources that is contributory to the success and sustainability of the agency operating for sixteen years already for rehabilitation and development of the conflict-affected areas in Mindanao with the principle of learning by doing in building the capacity of the Bangsamoro.
