They say that in a friendship, there will always be a time for goodbyes, might be temporary or permanent. This is also true in a partnership between individuals or organizations. But the hope to see each other and work together again is likewise always there.
This may be the same emotion and thoughts for both the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) during the farewell meeting of the latter’s head of office for Cotabato City on March 7, 2018 at BDA’s Central Management Office (CMO) in Brgy. Datu Balabaran, Cotabato City.
Nayoki Ochiai, who just recently left his post as head of JICA Cotabato Office visited the agency on said date to bid goodbye and express thanks for the good partnership and friendship during his times in the Bangsamoro.
He likewise expressed hoped to work again with the BDA in the future in different capacity.
Ochiai was welcomed by BDA executive director Mohammad S. Yacob together with deputy exec. Dir. Engr. Windel Diangcalan.
Dir. Yacob presented to Ochiai a plaque of appreciation and a token in gratitude also of help and assistance to Bangsamoro.
The Japanese government has been sending its people in the Bangsamoro in its commitment to support in the peace process and in pursuit of peace and development in the land.
In extending this kind of support to Bangsamoro, it is not surprising that people from different religion and nation build friendships which is very relevant in the world of peace building.
