Mobile health facility from Turkey takes off, serves peace advocates in Maguindanao

Peace advocates in Maguindanao benefited from the Mobile Health Service from Turkey during the massive rally on the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) today, December 27, 2018 at Datu Salibo in Maguindanao.

The Mobile Operating Clinic, a health facility donated by the Turkey Government through the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) mobilized during the rally served as medical station of the group of health workers and volunteers who are tasked to respond emergency cases throughout this gathering.

Along with the medical aid available are free medicines, which are given free to whoever may need them.

It was informed that, during massive gatherings, common health cases are headache, dizziness, high blood pressure, stomachache, skin allergies, cough and among others.

According to Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) health unit, there were hundreds of individuals who was served with medical services during the said rally.

“Through this simple health initiative, by complementing with such massive gathering, people feels more the hope towards better and accessible basic services which we are all aspiring for the future Bangsamoro government”, Mohammad S. Yacob, BDA executvie director said.

Health volunteers from Amanah Birthing Clinic and Health and Dental Unit of the General Staff of the MILF along with BDA health unit consisted the medical team of said mobile health service.
