Tahderiyyah Curriculum goes digital! Download the app now!

Learning the Arabic letter and numbers and the Islamic Values has become more fun and motivational for the Bangsamoro kids as the Tahderiyyah  (kindergarten) Curriculum, designed for a balance and complete education for children aged 3-4 years old goes digital.

There is now Tahderiyyah App that is downloadable at google playstore. The App was launched on October 27, 2018 at Cotabato City.

Excited and happy about this great news and milestones for the Bangsamoro children, education partners graced the Launching Ceremony and expressed message of delight and support during the event.

They were Engr. Windel Diangcalan, deputy executive director of the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA); Darwin Flores, Community Partnerships Head of Smart Communications; Wilson Yu II of FEU Institute of Technology; Kartini Tahir of the Department of Education-ARMM, official from Tarbiyyah Committee of the MILF; Marissa Pascual of Community Learners Foundation and Andrew Morris of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

In full support also was the BDA Board of Directors (BOD) headed by Dr. Saffrullah Dipatuan, chairman who in his message, highlighted the importance of education in Islam.

“The first commandment was (iqra) which means “read”, and in reading your search for knowledge”, he stated.

Chairman Dipatuan added that “with this milestone, another milestone could be opened”.

He thanked partners for reaching this achievement.

“We cannot reach this far without our partners who are willing to support our endeavor and we are looking forward for the brighter future of our children”, he ended.

The event was made even entertaining and fun through the performances of children from selected Tahderiyyah Schools in Cotabato City and Maguindanao who showcased traditional and Islamic songs while wearing colorful cultural clothes during the event.
