Tahderiyyah Program Implementation Review and Inception Workshop

Project staff of the Tahderiyyah Program of the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) convened on June 15-16, 2017 at Em Manor Hotel, Cotabato City. The End-of-Project Implementation Review was designed to assess the implementation of the Tahderiyyah Program Phase 3.2 including challenges encountered, lessons learned and best practices. Also, this activity was a better venue to document the overall output and outcomes of the Program. This documentation can be a very good reference of inputs to include but not limited to good practices and lessons learned in the conduct of Inception Workshop for the next Early Education Program (PCA) by UNICEF and BDA. Hence, provides for more effective, efficient and meaningful implementation strategies.

This activity gave the participants the opportunity to share and learn experiences in the project implementation highlighting immediate results/outcomes to target communities and children.

The Tahderiyyah Program is an Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) program for the Bangsamoro children aged 3-5 years old. Essentially, the objective of the program is to provide balanced education to young children, an education that imparts the values and teachings of Islam while developing the learning competencies of young children to make them school-ready.

Tahderiyyah Program is implemented by the BDA with support from the Government of Australia and in partnership with the United Nations’ Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
