Delegates from the Prince of Songkla University (PSU) in Thailand led by Dr. Samart Thongkua, a professor visited the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) on April 3, 2017 at Bangsamoro Development Center in Cotabato City Inc. (BDCCCI).
Accordingly, the visit was part of the on-going engagement of intern students from said University.
BDA executive director Mohammad Yacob welcomed the visitors.
“We consider your students as our family (referring to the 2 Thai intern students). We welcome you here with peace and we are hopeful that you’ll be in harmony until you go back to your country”, Yacob expressed.
He added “we are proud that your university considered this agency as your partner in developing education”.
Yacob also talked about brief overview about BDA.
Dr. Thongkua expressed his gratitude to the agency.
“In behalf of PSU faculty, we thank BDA for accepting our intern students in this institution”, he said.
“It is a good chance and a good beginning for starting the relationship between PSU and BDA especially from Political Science (PolScie) committee”, Dr. Thongkua said.
Two students from PSU has been undergoing internship at BDA which started in January this year.
“It is the first time that an International school sent intern students here at BDA for on-the-job training which is an accomplishment for us as an agency”, Yacob ended.
