YDP students undergo VTT


Twenty three (23) students under the Youth Development Program (YDP) of Bangsamoro Development Agency Central Mindanao (BDA-CenMin) underwent Values Transformation Training (VTT) on August 3-5, 2016 at Training Center, Regional Management Office (RMO) CenMin, Cotabato City.

Accordingly, the three-days training aimed to strengthen the spiritual aptitude of the youths towards better understanding of the Islamic Values, Islamic faith and for them to comprehend their role as a Muslim youth in their generation.

Nadheer Ismael, training officer said that one of the main objectives in conducting this prestigious activity is to have well-trained youths that will lead the Bangsamoro In Shaa Allah.

“It is important to let them know their role in promoting development within the nation”, Ismael added.

Ustadz Omar Hamdan and Professor Hasim Eskak who are volunteers of BDA-Cenmin facilitated the discussions.


Meanwhile, everyone showed active participation during the delivery of the eight sessions.

During the closing program, Nazneen Biruar-Piang, Administrative Officer (AO) emphasized the significance of the youths in the time of struggle.

“Being young and vibrant serve assets in achieving great things for later generation”, she added.

Moreover, the participants expressed gratitude to BDA family for initiating both YDP and VTT.

Arip Mohamad Chua, one of the participants said, “Thank you for upgrading the Bangsamoro youths”.

“Please continue empowering us. This will help us a lot”, Chua added.

According to Alex Pinamaloy, YDP coordinator, the participants are students of the YDP class for the school year 2016-2017.

“As part of the procedures, they should undergo VTT first”, Pinamaloy added.

YDP is one of the eight (8) major programs of BDA.

VTT is one of the regular activities of BDA under its Peace Building Program.
