The Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) attended 1^st Mindanao Policy Research Forum organized by the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) in partnership with Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) on September 04, 2015 at Water Front Insular Hotel, Davao City.

The said forum was organized by MinDA thru its Mindanao Knowledge, Research and Policy Center (MKRPC), which objective is to become an independent, state-of-the-art center that will support the growth of the research environment in the academe, as well as their practical applications towards the development of every region in Mindanao.

Engr. Windel Diangcalan, BDA deputy exec. director and head of programs division represented the agency.

Diangcalan shared that Bangsamoro Development Plan (BDP) integrative report was already formulated and published as proactive from the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) to provide development roadmap in Bangsamoro.

“In the said document, there are proposed policies and studies that shall be reviewed and conducted, respectively, to facilitate seamless transition should the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) be established”, Diangcalan added.
