The Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) attended a capability development framework for internal audit & organizational improvement workshop on November 9, 2015 from 9:00AM to 1:00PM in Davao City.

Hamodi Tiboron, BDA finance head and Marifah Agar, admin head joined the said activity.

Accordingly, the activity aimed to provide an oversight of the profession of internal auditing, provide help in understanding the role of internal audit and the basis for the profession through the International Professional Practices Framework, discuss the types of internal audit and how those approaches can assist in business improvement, and discuss capabilities required to achieve a world class internal audit function.

Hamodi said that the workshop is very helpful to BDA with regard to enhancing its capacity on internal audit in line with the agency’s institutionalization.

The activity was conducted by the Queensland University of Technology and University of Mindanao.
