BDA-CenMin sets up system towards strengthened data management

This good news was reported by Marbawe Edza, regional planning, monitoring and evaluation officer of Bangsamoro Development Agency-Central Mindanao (BDA-CenMin) Region during the monthly meeting of this office on August 31 – September 1, 2015 at its Session Hall.
According to Edza, “the region’s PME unit is now on the process of upgrading its systems on formulation of certificates and management of information for data storage or data banking”.
“From ordinary systems of certification and management of information, it will be upgraded into on line computerized system where data will be stored on line and all registered users can access anywhere anytime”, Edza reported.
He added that for the on line computerized certification system, it will automatically generate ready to print reports upon input of the names of the participants of the training.
Edza further reported that the system is piloted for the Values Transformation Training (VTT) Certification and other related trainings will follow on a priority basis.
With regards to Management Information Systems (MIS), Rasul Kalim, MIS Officer reported that their unit have started developing an on line system designed to capture important information related to program and project based implementations of this region.
“This system is also designed to automatically generate information upon input of the related data,”Kalim said.
BDA-CenMin Regional Manager Hashim B. Manticayan of in response to the updates said, “this is a welcome development”.
“This is the first time in the office. This is very useful not only for the office but to the entire Central Mindanao Region of BDA because it can help a lot in planning, monitoring and evaluation activities of the region, RM Manticayan added.
He expressed his thanks to the PME Office and its entire staff for the untiring efforts to support by any legal means the development of the region in its program and project based implementations.
