BDA-CenMin strengthens radio program, underwent lectures on basic broadcast

In joining the BDA SA KAWANG-KAWANGAN, the official radio program of the Bangsamoro Development Agency, the agency’s regional management office in Central Mindanao (RMO-CenMin) organized a 2-day lecture on basic broadcast on July 8 and 10, 2015 at the office’s Session Hall in Cotabato City.
Lecture on “Strategies on Effective Radio Programming in the Context of the Bangsamoro” was discussed by Hasim “Abu Hisam” Iskak, program director of Suara Mindanao, a Moro led radio program aired over DXMY-RMN in Cotabato City.
Director Iskak presented various effective strategies for radio programming in the context of Bangsamoro.
He strongly emphasized that, “a speaker in any radio program must be non-partisan which means that he/she should neither be one sided nor driven by any selfish interest motive or group.”
“A radio anchor should clearly use language easily understandable to the general Bangsamoro listeners,” Director Iskak added.
Lecture on basic broadcasting and echoing was presented by Nur Gayak and Jom Dimapalao of said radio station.
Gayak and Dimapalao presented both theory and practice on the basic of broadcasting and echoing.
Accordingly, speaker in any radio program should have enough preparation before the going on air as it is among the most important things that he/she should possess.
