BDA commgroup expands to reg’l. and prov’l. level

Towards strong communication strategies, the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) communication group recently expanded its membership to regional and provincial level.

In a memorandum signed by the BDA executive director Mohammad S. Yacob, there is at least one designated staff for each of the six regions and two provinces of the agency who will be tasked of communication activities.

BDA regions are Central Mindanao led by regional manager Hashim Manticayan; Davao by Luqman Tandalong; Ranaw by Aragasi Mohammad; Southern Mindanao by Mohalikin Piang; Zamboanga-Peninsula by Mohammadun Taug and; Zamboanga-Basilan by Tony Sakalahul.

BDA provinces are Sulu headed by Muldison Taung provincial manager and Tawi-Tawi by Amilbahar Sangkula.

BDA CommGroup was created in 2014 and has been undertaking activities geared towards the strengthening of the agency’s communication strategies.

Accordingly, the expansion of its membership in regional and provincial levels will help in getting more news and stories thus producing more information materials that contain key information about the BDA.

The group is tasked of the implementation of BDA communication plan, development of information, education and campaign (IEC) materials, website management, radio program, among others.
