BDA CommGroup undergoes training on radio production

As part of the preparation for the upcoming radio program of Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA), the agency’s communication group underwent on one-day actual training on radio production on April 2, 2015 at DXMS Radio Station in Cotabato City.
BDA CommGroup is tasked to undertake activities that are geared towards the strengthening of the communication and information of the agency.
The group is composed of 10 members from staff of various programs that BDA is currently implementing.
BDA CommGroup facilitated the production of BDA Newsletter and BDA Annual Report 2014 which will be released soon.
Inputs on broadcast specifically production of radio spots were major part of the training.
“Radio spot is based on the idea of creating an audio-only environment and placing the listeners inside of it by creating the so called “theatre of the mind”, Jeffrey Mendez, the resource person, said.
Mendez is the events and production in-charge at Notre Dame Broadcasting Company (NDBC).
Besides, participants also underwent workshop on scriptwriting. Finalized script were recorded by the participants in the production room of DXMS.
Produced radio spots will be used for the BDA radio program which airs soon at The Voice FM 99.0.
BDA Radio program is named BDA SA KAWANG-KAWANGAN (BDA on AIR). It started today, April 9, 2015.
