The Philippines Australia Human Resource and Organizational Development Facility (PAHRODF) recently conducted organizational assessment to Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) in their aim to provide assistance in the development of the agency.

Composed of three experts, the PAHRODF team facilitated the organization assessment in five phases.

Part of the process is key informant interview and focus group discussion (FGD) with BDA management and key staff.

This specific activity is intended to gather the input on the current operation of BDA in three fields such as planning, human resources and individual capacity of staff.

According to Mohammad S. Yacob, Ph.D, BDA Executive Director, “the assessment is significant for the agency as it currently moving towards institutionalization”.

Further, Director Yacob sees the assessment as timely especially that BDA is in the process of determining its role in and beyond the transition for Bangsamoro.

PAHRODF, funded by Department of Finance and Trade of Australian Embassy, is supporting BDA in response to the request of the agency for its capacity and institutionalization building and objectives.
