To develop standard message for the Tahderiyyah program components through communication plan is the main objective of the workshop on Communication for Development (C4D) which started yesterday October 5, 2015 and ends today.

Specifically, the workshop aims to (a) strengthen communication strategies; (b) identify C4D initiatives supporting the key deliverables of the program; and draft comprehensive communication for development plan of the program.

According to Julie Maliga, Tahderiyyah program coordinator, the workshop is joined by key staff of BDA for this program, and representatives from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Kenny Nodalo, communication manager of Basic Education Assistance for Mindanao-Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BEAM-ARMM) is the resource person of the activity.

Participants will also agree on the next steps for the implementation of the communication plan.

Tahderiyyah program with components on education, child protection and water sanitation and health (WaSH) is now on its Phase 3 implementation.
