Planning workshop 3 for PO Strengthening project now happening

Key program staff of Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) under the Institutional Strengthening Agreement (ISA) People’s Organization (PO) Strengthening component convene, together with partners from Community and Family Services International (CFSI) and Mindanao Land Foundation (MinLand) today October 5 until tomorrow, 6 for the Planning 3 Workshop.
It aims to present the field assessment result conducted on September and to come up with suggested implementation work plan.
PO Strengthening as project aims to strengthen the capacity of selected POs organized by BDA to possibly operate as local enterprises.
It is further reported that the project will help in strengthening the institutions like the POs that serve as alternative service delivery mechanisms for inclusive community driven development in the conflict-affected communities.
Thirty (30) POs were already selected across the six regions of BDA to benefit from the project.
PO Strengthening is one component of the Institutional Strengthening Agreement (ISA) supported by the MTFRDP in partnership with the CFSI and MinLand.
It is supported by various donors such as the European Union; the Swedish International Development Agency; the Australian Embassy in the Philippines; Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada; the United States Agency for International Development; the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the World Bank, which also serves as the Trust Fund Secretariat.
