Tahderiyyah program conducts joint field visit with partners

With an aim to collectively draw approach towards better program implementation, staff of Tahderiyyah program implemented by the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) together with partners from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) did joint field visit from March 12-16, 2015 in selected communities covered by the program across the seven region management offices of the agency.
Part of the mission was the conduct of meeting at regional management offices (RMO) of BDA where program status and challenges were discussed with RMO staff.
The team then proceeded to project sites for an interaction with beneficiaries, program stakeholders such as teachers and madrasah administrators and some community members.
Through this visit, the joint field mission team interacted with beneficiaries and observed physical status of the project.
It also provided opportunity for the technical staff and consultants to discuss as a team the progress of the program and to share insights and inputs on how the different sectors components of the program can participate better.
Document review and direct observation of Tahderiyyah sessions were also integral part of this filed visit.
Meeting with the RMO’s is one of the activities of said field visit and followed by visit to community that has the following Tahderiyyah program components which are Child Protection; Education; and WaSH.
Tahderiyyah Curriculum Program (TCP) is implemented by the BDA as a part of the peace and development programs in Mindanao being supported by the Australian government through UNICEF.
The program covers three components such as education, child protection and water, sanitation and hygiene (WaSH).
