Tahderiyyah Phase 3 Implementation kicked off with program orientation and planning workshop on November 11-14, 2015 at Davao City.

New program staff both from BDA Central Management Office(CMO) and Regional Management Offices (RMOs) convened for this event including the regional managers, BDA executive director and division heads, BDA organizational performance and management consultant and some members of the agency’s board of directors.

According to Julie Maliga, Tahderiyyah program coordinator, the activity is designed to become the venue for each staff and the team as a whole to have common understanding and appreciation of the program, in general.

“This is to provide venue to clarify and have better understanding of each staff roles and responsibilities in the program and to the organization”, Maliga said.

She added that while looking into better childhood education program for bangsamoro communities, an effort for a more enhanced and improved project implementation, to include monitoring and evaluation strategies are targeted as well. This is determined through the procurement of more skilled, knowledgeable and competent staff. Also, a common understanding and appreciation of program components among staff and those who shall be involved in the program implementation.”

Representatives from the United Nations’Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and DFAT Australia (then AusAid) were also part of the activity.
