They are also among the participants of Values Transformation Training (VTT) conducted by Bangsamoro Development Agency-Central Mindanao (BDA-CenMin) Region last August 2015 at Barangay Ilian, Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat province.

This was reported by Mr. Mastura Salapandiya, BDA Volunteer based in the said province, to the BDA Regional Management Office (RMO) in CenMin during the agency’s Regional Volunteers’ Meeting on October 25, 2015 in Cotabato City.

According to Mr. Salapandiya, the 2 non-Muslims decided to embrace Islam after they underwent several self-reflections about the authentic creation of everything including mankind and its purpose.

“By these reflections, they thought of finding out the right path in order to serve the purpose why they were created”, stressed Mr. Salapandiya.

Mr. Abdulhaq Palisaman, also BDA Volunteer said, “the decision of our brothers to embrace Islam is a divine intervention because their final decision was made through various reflections and not because of anybody to convince them”.

Mr. Sabila Angkay, Head of BDA Volunteers in Sultan Kudarat Province said in his message, “let us welcome our new Muslim brothers in Islam, while we are still giving utmost recognition and respect to all non-Muslim brothers and sisters not only in this province but everywhere else.

Mr. Angaky further said, “because although we believe with firm conviction that Islam is the right path towards the Supreme Creator (ALLAH), freedom of religion is highly recognized and respected as the standing principle of Islam”.

VTT is a three (3)-day training about values which was written and has been implemented by BDA with the aim of transforming the values of Bangsamoro and other stakeholders in order to attain true and holistic development.
