UNFPA and partners conduct accreditation and inspection to birthing facility in Darapanan, SK Mag.

Targeted for refurbishment and facility enhancement, birthing facility in Camp Darapanan, Sultan Kudarat Maguindanao were visited by health officials from the Department of Health (DOH) ARMM, the PHILHEALTH and United Nation’s Population Fund (UNFPA) for the accreditation and inspection on October 15, 2015.

They are Atty. Sambas Mabang, Head of DOH-ARMM Regulatory Licensing and Enforcement Cluster; Abdulkadir Lingkob, PHILHEALTH Social Insurance Assistant 1; and Dr. Angelito Umali, Maternal and Child Health Officer from UNFPA.

The activity is under the service delivery component of the program on Strengthening Capacities for RH Service Delivery and Advocacy in the Bangsamoro implemented by the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA), the Bangsamoro Leadership Management Institute (BLMI) and Bangsamoro Medical Society (BMS) with support from UNFPA.
