She recalled that MBD started with Philippine Red Cross- Cotabato City Chapter as a sole partner.

Sulba G. Tulah, regional coordinator of health and sanitation of BDA-CenMin said, “the success of this MBD is not only because of BDA-CenMin and its hardworking volunteers and staff, but it is also due to the collaborative efforts our partners”.

He also commended the great role of donors in the success of the activity.

“Donors played the greatest role in this activity because without their cooperation and willingness to share life by donating blood, this activity will be meaningless”, Tulah added.

“We are praying that that their care and help to save lives by donating blood will be sustained, and better if they even recruit others to do the same so we can serve more”, RC Tulah futher stated.

MBD is a regular activity of the Cenmin region every three month or quarterly since 2009.

“BDA-CenMin is also conducting mobile MBD in its eleven (11) provincial offices and other various groups or organizations in Central Mindanao”, Carolyn Biruan, MBD regional coordinator said.
