Ramadhan observance at BDA
In this month of Ramadhan, the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) stands with the Bangsamoro for the current security situation in Mindanao. We pray for our brothers and sisters in Marawi City with their present situation. Our prayers that this blessed month may light-up this darkness happening in our society.
Special activities for Ramadhan
Every year, it has been a practice of the BDA to organize special programs that aim to strengthen the faith of its staff.
- Study circle (halaqat)
It is conducted everyday (duhoor/noon time). Every week, there is specific topic being discussed by the invited lecturer.
2. Weekly lecture (selected topics)
Weekly lecture is organized every Thursday 10:00-12:00 noon. The general topic is Islamic Banking and Finance as presented by Hasmiene D. Ibrahim.
3. Weekly Islamic symposium
Delivered by a guest lecturer with specific topics on Islam. On June 8, 2017, the speaker was Ustadz Kamaruddin Dudu. This activity gives chance to the participants to enrich their knowledge on Islam.
Partcipants to these special activities were staff from BDA-Central Management Office (CMO) and Regional Management Office (RMO) Central Mindanao, BDA development catalysts, students of the Youth Development Program (YDP) and representatives from various organizations such as Ittihadun Nisa Foundation (INFO), Jumiatul Tilmizaat Org., Muslim Youth Religious Organization (MYRO), Tawasul Philippines Inc., Tabun Halal MPC, and others.
