Serving of Free Iftar this Ramadhan Program 2017
Serving of free food for iftar (breaking of fast) is one of the components of the Ramadhan Program 2017 managed by the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) with support from Insani Yardim Vakfi (IHH), a humanitarian foundation based in Turkey.
As of today, June 13, 2017, there were already one thousand seventy (1,070) poor fasting individuals who were served with free food for Iftar in nine masjids (place of worship) in Cotabato City. These masjids were identified through the Office of Masajid Affairs. Five sets of free Iftar meals will be organized in the following days.
Ramadhan Program is an annual activity conducted in line with the objectives of helping poor families and as act of generosity, which is encouraged among Muslims this Holy month of fasting.
