BDA participates Local Industry Promotion for the Bangsamoro in Japan


The Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) participated to the Local Industry Promotion for the Bangsamoro on August 1-15, 2017 at Hiroshima in Japan.

Engr. Jandatu Salik represented the BDA to the said study tour. He was with other delegates from various agencies: The Moropreneur Inc., MSU Maguindanao, USM Cabacan, the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) agencies, Bangsamoro Business Council, and representatives from the GPH-MILF Implementing Panel and from the provinces of Lanao, Maguindanao, Tawi Tawi, Sulu, and Basilan.

The study tour included various lectures, observations and field exposures, visits to

Hiroshima City Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Promotion Center, courtesy call to the Hiroshima Governor and stall market in the province.

The training organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), purpose of the training is to understand effective mechanism and methodology of local industry development in Japan by learning policies and good practices in distribution and marketing of agricultural and fishery products.
