Baseline study on RH for Bangsamoro signed between BDA, IBS
The signing was on December 17, 2015 at the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) Central Management Office (CMO) in Cotabato City.
From BDA was Mohammad S. Yacob, BDA executive director while from Institute of Bangsamoro Studies (IBS) was Prof.Abhoud Syed Linga, exec. dir.
Accordingly, this baseline study on sexual reproductive health (SRH) in the Bangsamoro will provide accurate data that will be used for future program implementations.
The Institute of Bangsamoro Studies (IBS) will conduct the study.
It was reported that overall objective of this research will provide a baseline for the development of a comprehensive SRH program for Bangsamoro.
Its target respondents are women, men and young people in the Bangsamoro core territories as stipulated in the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB).
This study which will happen this first quarter of 2016 is one of the three components of the program on Strengthening Capacities for RH Service Delivery and Advocacy in the Bangsamoro implemented by the BDA in partnership with Bangsamoro Medical Society (BMS) and Bangsamoro Leadership Management Institute (BLMI) supported by the United Nations’ Population Fund (UNFPA).
