LGU ComVal commends BDA for project kick off

A statement of Hon. Vice Mayor Voltaire Remando of Maco, Compostela Valley during the groundbreaking ceremony of the Construction of Water System Level 2 project on August 5, 2016 at Brgy. Pangi this municipality.
“We LGU ComVal are very much thankful for the BDA consistency in helping us through this noble project”, Vice Mayor Remando said.
The event was participated by the members of the Pangi- Christian Muslim Solidarity for Peace and Development Organization (PAC-MSPDO) headed by Eddie Edolantes, members of the Baranggay Council of Barangay Pangi headed, Local Government of Pangi represented by Vice Mayor Remondo, officials of the Bangsamoro Development Agency- Davao Region headed by Luqman Tandalong together with Jimyashier Talangtalang, Program Operations Officer.
Tandalong, regional manager of BDA- RMO Davao as well thanked all those who worked hard in realizing the project for continuous development.
He also stressed out the efforts of the GRP and MILF in considering the welfare of the communities through development projects.
“This is a collective effort of everyone, not the ideal but worth replicable project initiated by the grassroots, and indeed, we are very much grateful because we are blessed to have this project even we are far from them”, Vice Mayor Remondo added as he mentioned all the continuous partnerships of the community and the Local Government as well as the BDA as they successfully met all the requirements and approval of the project.
Meanwhile, Ustadz Mokhalyden Aranaid, Political Chairman of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front- Davao del Norte and ComVal Provinces urged everyone to conduct series of consultations in whatever concerns that may possibly occur as to promote harmonious relationship in the project implementation.
PO President Edolantes expressed his gratitude and appreciation as they are “ovewhelmed” by the change in their community through the said project.
“I felt happy that this project came to realize, it lifted our morale. Although at first we have doubts and fear on how we may handle it, but I know we will because we will do whatever we can do to achieve this”, he stated.
Baranggay Pangi, Maco, ComVal Province is one of the three (3) Program Partnership Agreement (PPA) Solidarity sites of the Bangsamoro Development Agency- Davao Region and is the firs tone to take off for implementation.
PPA Solidarity is implemented in selected mixed communities across BDA regions.
The program is supported by the Mindanao Trust Fund (MTF), with various donors such as such as the European Union, the Swedish International Development Agency, the Australian Embassy Philippines, Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development of Canada, the United States Agency for International Development, the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the World Bank which also serves as trust fund secretariat.
